Tower of Miotte

Visiting the tower by the night was incredible. Before Lion of Bartholdi, that was a symbol of Belfort. The first mention of the tower was in 1679. The tower was a part of medieval castle and it was used like watchtower. She's probably date from 13th century. Tower of Miotte has several stages and the last is from 1947, when she was renovated by ancient prisoners from Second World War.

Today  it is important monument of Belfort and gives a beautiful view on the city.
